Alpine Rivers® Color-Coded & Numbered RFID Sleeves, Original pack (all top-load). An 18-piece set of RFID blocking sleeves for credit cards, debit cards, ID cards and passports: 14 card sleeves numbered 01 to 14, each with its own colored edge, and 4 passport sleeves.

All 14 card sleeves open at the short edge (top-load), so the card slides in vertically like a wallet slot. Each sleeve carries its own color and number, so you find the right card at a glance instead of pulling out four to check.

What you get: 14 numbered, color-coded card sleeves and 4 passport sleeves, 18 pieces in total.
Loading: all 14 card sleeves are top-load, and the 4 passport sleeves are top-load too.
Numbering: 01 to 14, each with its own colored edge.

Excellent quality, but ...

WISH Alpine Rivers would sell a set of ONLY credit card sleeves - 18 to 24 would be great. We have zero need of passport sleeves, and four of them come with every set.

They work I tried using my card with the sleeve while buying something and the device didn't recognize the card. Only thing is that they're not ass resistant but for the price is good.

Keeps your data secure!

These sleeves work perfectly. I tested them when buying grocers. My card could not be read through the sleeve. I gave some to my elderly parents that had never heard of RFID card theft. I gave some to my wife and daughter. I didn't need the larger size, but I in the future.

Good Protection

I like the sleeves. Thin enough to fit into my wallet but not in my husband’s. Go figure! It gives me peace of mind, especially while traveling.

Use these every day

Great product. Use them on all of my credit cards, passport, medical cards when I have them with me when I am out. No one has copied any of my card numbers so far.

Can't attest to the RFID part as I have no way to test, but the sleeves work and fit my wallet just right. They are a little tight in the beginning but loosen up with use. So far I like them.

Tested this sleeve at the bank and grocery store, both times it would not read the chip in the card no matter how long i held it over the machine. The grocery store reader made a noise like it detected something was there but could not read it, took the sleeve off and it read the card immediately. Makes my card wallet a little more snug but thats perfectly fine. Like the color coordination too. All in all a good purchase.

Durability, Safety and Appearance

I love the fact that they are color coded and numbered because I can tell which card to use and not have to scramble through each card holder. Also, they are very sturdy and the inside of them makes me feel that my cards are protected from damage and fraud.

I love the slim sleeves and convenient safety protection. Different colors are a plus as well. They fit into my wallet which I appreciate. Hopefully they provide as good of protection as claimed.

These work great to protect my credit cards, especially when I am traveling. It just gives me a little piece of mind to know that my cards have extra RFID protection while I am walking in crowds, etc…
They hold up well from daily use in my wallet, and they work for your passport too. I am pleased with these sleeves.

no idea if this works but my cards and passport fit inside nicely so works? i dunno. probably recommend for travelers

Gotta stay protected. . .

I purchased theses sleeves to add a layer of protection when I am out shopping. There sleeves are sturdy. With the card inside they will not fit into the card holder in your wallet but you want the protection, most of all.

Since I carry multiple credit cards it would have been better if each sleeve could contain 2 card...

The sleeves have a certain thickness which add up for multiple credit cards. Since I carry multiple credit cards it would have been better if each sleeve could contain 2 cards instead of just one to keep the wallet thickness a bit thinner. And clearly, I have to take manufacturer's word that they actually work since my only evidence that they did not would be experiencing the extremely rare event that a card had been scanned.

What is the difference between top-load and side-load sleeves?

Top-load sleeves open on the short edge, so the card slides in upright. Side-load sleeves open on the long edge, so the card slides in sideways, which suits wallets with sideways card slots. Top-Load sets hold 14 top-load card sleeves. Top and Side-Load sets have 7 of each. Every set adds 4 passport sleeves.

Will my cards still work after being stored inside?

Yes. The shielding is passive. It only blocks signals while the card is inside. Take the card out and it works exactly as it did before.

Do RFID sleeves block contactless payments?

Yes, while the card is inside. Tap-to-pay cards use 13.56 MHz, and a sleeve with verified 13.56 MHz shielding keeps the terminal from reading the card. Slide it out to pay; phone and watch wallets are not affected.

Do I need a separate sleeve for my passport?

Yes, and every set includes 4. Card sleeves fit credit-card-size cards, while passport sleeves are cut for passport booklets, including 52-page versions. Current US passports carry a contactless chip, so a passport sleeve keeps it shielded.
