Alpine Rivers® makes travel security gear for people who refuse to slow down. We started in 2015 with a single product, a money belt designed to disappear under a shirt and shield contactless cards from skimmers. We added card sleeves in 2016. Since then, more than 22,000 travelers have trusted Alpine Rivers® to carry passports, cards, and cash through airports, hotels, and city streets they had never seen before.

Our history

2015. Alpine Rivers® was founded. The money belt launched first, built to disappear under a shirt and keep cash, cards, and passport close and unreadable. Independent third-party batch inspection began on every production run, and it has never stopped.

2016. Our RFID blocking card sleeves launched, and they achieved FIPS 201 approval on the US government's GSA Approved Products List (#1424). That same year, Alpine Rivers® became an authorized Travel Sentry licensed distributor of TSA-approved travel locks.

2015 to today. Every production run is still independently batch-tested by a third party. Not the first run. Every run. The range has grown. The standard has not moved.

Why we exist

Skimming attacks on contactless cards are no longer hypothetical. Criminals use cheap, hand-held readers to harvest card data through a jacket pocket, a bag, or a back pocket on a crowded train. The fix is not paranoia. It is simple, layered shielding that works quietly while you do everything else.
