Worked for me

I use primarily the card sleeves. It fits standard size credit/debit cards perfectly (at least US ones), and does not significantly contribute to the size. I have a Crabby Gear Canvas Wallet (non-elastic) and comfortably fits 4-5 cards (not including another 3-4 ID and insurance cards without the sleeves). This is same as before I had the sleeves - and had a card electronically stolen and used on the other side of the continent.

When in the sleeve, a cash register RFID reader does not pick up the card - I tried at multiple POS systems - so it does its primary job from what I can tell. I've had these for over a year, and there is no significant wear-and-tear, even with daily use for some of them.

I did read some negative reviews here, and to comment on some of those:
* Yes, there is a card imprint on the sleeve if the card has embossed card number on it. Many newer cards do not have this. If yours do, I would definitely use caution not to lose them (as with the card itself) and dispose of mindfully (e.g. shredder).
* These do not work with security badges. I tested mine with one of the passport-size sleeves to confirm this. I believe the reason is significantly lower RFID frequency than the credit card chips. You may need a Faraday pouch or something if this is part of your threat model.
* Yes, it's a bit of a nuisance taking card in and out each time. You have to get in the habit if you want this layer of protection, there is no way around it. To help reinsert the card, I suggest slightly squeezing the sides. On occasion, for example if there is a line behind me, I just put it in my pocket and put it back in the sleeve at the next opportunity (e.g. in the car).
* Yes, an RFID wallet can provide better, more streamlined protection (I have one of those as well for certain uses). But, if you like your wallet, as I mentioned above these do not contribute significantly to the size.
* Some reviewers commented how the card no longer fits into a single pocket inside a wallet. I used a wallet I have, see photo. With one card per pocket, they go in and out very easily (right side). With two cards per pocket... well, to be honest, the 4th card took some effort to get in (left side). Obviously, it's going to depend on the specific wallet - my wife said she had issues with hers as well.

For my use case, the credit/debit card sleeves do exactly what I need: block contactless chip readers, don't get worn out easily, and fit in my existing wallet.

Good value for the money

These are durable and take a lot of abuse inside one's purse or wallet. Good value for the money. I have tried several other brands of RFID sleeves and found the others to wear very quickly, becoming readily shop worn from use.

ACTUALLY, DOES WORK!!!!!!!

In the last 2 days I tried my credit card and a debit card both in a sleeve at a gas station convenience store, a grocery store, and a small store. In all cases with both covered cards the scanner could not read the chip on either card. YES IT DOES WORK!!!!!
Now for a slight downer, the sleeve is about a millimeter to wide. The cards and sleeves fit in my wallet, but it is a tight fit. I will review again when my wallet rips or the sleeve falls apart from my constant use.

Inexpensive peace of mind

With the new technology of contactless credit cards and smart passports, there has been a rise in concern about RFID theft. The idea is that people can use remote scanners to lift the information on your cards and either use it to generate fake payments or use your personal info for other scams. But is RFID theft really a problem that you need to guard against? I personally don't think so but you won't know until it happens to you. If you’re protecting mostly credit cards and you don’t need a new wallet, these basic RFID sleeves are great, fit into most regular wallets, credit card pockets and are nice and cheap. If it’s just a passport you want to protect, then there are sleeves and wallets out there specifically for travel. So in short, the risks are low. But if you’d prefer to concentrate on locking in your best moments, instead of thinking about whether you’re entering a situation where RFID theft is possible, then some cheap investment in RFID protection could be a wise choice.

Feel secure

Bought these for our passports and credit cards on an overseas trip. The sleeves and card holders lasted really well, especially with the passports that had to be taken out on multiple occasions. The card holders actually fit into the card slots of both purse and wallet so we did not have to squeeze the cards in . These felt secure and show little to no wear and tear on over weeks of constant use. Well worth the peace of mind and we didn't have to worry whether we had RIFD purses or wallets.

Easy to use

I had RDID blocking sleeves that were thinner and began to wear out. I purchased these to replace the old ones. They are thicker and sturdier than my old RFID sleeves. I'm confused about some of the comments about these RFID blocking sleeves because I have no problem getting my credit cards in and out of the sleeves. There have been comments that these are no good because your credit card leaves an impression of your card number (and other info) on the inside of the sleeve and someone could get your information if you lost the sleeve. I'm a bit confused. When would there be a situation in which you would be keeping the sleeve separate from your credit card? If you kept the credit card inside the sleeve and lost it, all of the information would be on the credit card and it wouldn't matter that it's also on the sleeve. If you stopped using the sleeve you should cut it into pieces just like you should with an old credit card.

February 11, 2021 - RFID Blocking Sleeves

I purchased these RFID Sleeves on Jan 13, 2021, they arrived on time and in new condition, fit all my credit, debit and insurance cards, fit comfortably in every slot of my wallet, have no problems taking them out or putting them in (except for, see below), are durable and are holding up quite nicely. Easy to remove and reinstall cards because of the curve in the top of the sleeve. The RFID works well, can't scan my cards using a scanner.

Being black, the sleeves blend in to my black wallet and make it hard to see which card I need to grab, I have to solve this problem by organizing my cards the same way every time; but, the tiny white space on the sleeves allows me to put an initial on it telling me what the card is; when marking the tiny white square, I found that using a fine felt tip pen (Sharpie extra-fine) works quite well. They have a satin finish on them which makes it easy to remove them from my wallet; but, when my skin is dry it makes it hard to grab a hold of them and causes the sleeves to slip out from between my fingers, this doesn't happen very often. I would like this company to have options; such as, different colors to choose from and flat mate finish on the outside of the sleeve to make it easier to grab.

Overall, I am pleased with this product.

Not bad

I bought these because I needed some
New one due to my old ones being beat up. These are great however if they are in a wallet pressed up, you see the card number. This makes me kinda nervous. I mint stick something in between.

These DO work...

I bought these because I'm very aware of credit card skimmers and wireless RFID scanners. I work in a federal courthouse, and we use smart cards to enter secure areas. I figured since I am not a criminal and don't have their credit card stealing equipment, I would use the courthouse smart card readers to test the efficacy of these sleeves.

They passed with flying colors. And if it blocks that signal, I think it's a safe bet that it'll protect my credit and debit cards from someone in a crowd from wirelessly stealing my numbers.

I carry two cards in a money clip with a few other card-sized items, like my driver's license and insurance card. Both fit perfectly in one envelope, which is great. They were a little tight at first, but after a few days they both live comfortably in the same envelope.

The only thing I see that I don't like is that it seems to be de-laminating a little right at the opening where you put the cards in. Mind you, I take my card out a couple of times a day, every day, and I've been using it for a few months now. I guess that's not too bad, and I don't want to make it seem like it's fallen apart - it's just starting to separate a little.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Even if I only get 6 months out of each one, that's 7 years for ten bucks. How can you go wrong?

Great credit card sleeves!

These RFID blocking sleeves are very slim, discreet, and professional-looking. They came quickly in the mail and were packaged very nicely, much like the many pictures others have posted. My credit card information has been stolen more than once, typically after a trip somewhere, so I was a bit wary as I prepared for my family's summer trip this year. So, I decided to purchase these as a safeguard for my husband's and my cards this year. I love the discreetness of these cards. The cards and sleeve fit perfectly in the card slots in my wallet but did not fit in my husband's card slots. He just put them in the larger bill fold area and it worked fine there. I really like the basic black color scheme I ordered and there's a small white square near the sleeve opening where you can use a permanent colored marker to differentiate the sleeves so you know which card you are pulling out or a basic black permanent marker to write down initials for card identification, if you wanted to. You can also easily buy colored dots at the dollar store to indicate various cards you have, pretty easy fix.

I read reviews where some have tried testing out the sleeves with their hotel room card keys so I did that too and it worked! Without the sleeve, the card key unlocked my hotel room and with it, it did not. It is satisfying to know that a product does what it says it will do. On my trip, I kept my cards in the sleeves up until the moment I needed it, and even then, I kept the card close to my body just in case. I know thieves can steal card information several ways, but I hope this product was able to safeguard against most of their tactics. Overall, it's a good buy, especially the passport sleeves if you are travelling out of country. I would easily pay $11 again for a set of sleeves that give you peace of mind. I am happy with my purchase and since I received more sleeves than the number of cards that I use, I will be sharing some with my siblings.

Questions shoppers ask

What is the difference between top-load and side-load sleeves?

Top-load sleeves open on the short edge, so the card slides in upright. Side-load sleeves open on the long edge, so the card slides in sideways, which suits wallets with sideways card slots. Top-Load sets hold 14 top-load card sleeves. Top and Side-Load sets have 7 of each. Every set adds 4 passport sleeves.

Will my cards still work after being stored inside?

Yes. The shielding is passive. It only blocks signals while the card is inside. Take the card out and it works exactly as it did before.

Do RFID sleeves block contactless payments?

Yes, while the card is inside. Tap-to-pay cards use 13.56 MHz, and a sleeve with verified 13.56 MHz shielding keeps the terminal from reading the card. Slide it out to pay; phone and watch wallets are not affected.

Do I need a separate sleeve for my passport?

Yes, and every set includes 4. Card sleeves fit credit-card-size cards, while passport sleeves are cut for passport booklets, including 52-page versions. Current US passports carry a contactless chip, so a passport sleeve keeps it shielded.

Do the sleeves block all frequencies?

No. Our shielding is made for 13.56 MHz, the frequency used by tap-to-pay cards, e-passports, most transit cards and many hotel keys.

How long does shipping take?
